AI for Small Business Kit 🔧

From @techyai_cj. Seven prompts that save real hours whether you do real estate, roofing, lawn care, hair, auto repair, or anything else with customers and invoices. Works in Claude or ChatGPT. Tap copy, swap the brackets, send the results.

01 · the flyer

Make me a flyer image for [offer, like a summer AC tune up special, $89]. Bold headline, easy to read from a car, include [phone number or business name]. Then make the price twice as big.

02 · the estimate

Draft a professional estimate for this job: [describe the job]. My rates: [labor rate, typical materials]. Line items, subtotal, simple terms, friendly closing. Make it look like it came from an established company.

03 · the follow up machine

Write a friendly check in text for customers from last month asking how everything is running, mentioning I appreciate referrals. Give me 3 versions: casual, professional, short.

04 · the invoice audit

Here are my supplier invoices from this month. Which prices went up compared to earlier invoices, by how much, and what is that costing me per year? [paste or attach invoices]

05 · the review reply

Reply to this customer review in my voice: professional, human, no corporate speak. If it is negative, acknowledge the issue, do not argue, and take it offline. [paste review]

06 · the no show killer

Write my appointment reminder messages: one for 24 hours before, one for 2 hours before. Friendly, short, with an easy way to reschedule. My business: [type].

07 · the weekly numbers

Here are my jobs and payments from this week. Tell me: total revenue, my best paying type of work, anything unpaid I should chase, and one thing I should do differently next week. [paste]

Now the ones for your trade

Those seven work for anybody. These five are the ones from the carousel, written for a specific kind of business. Find yours.

🏠 real estate · the listing

Here are photos and the basic facts on my listing. Write the description. Lead with the thing a buyer actually cares about, not the square footage. Keep it under 150 words and give me three versions with different opening lines. Then write me a follow up text I can send to everyone who toured it.

🔨 roofing and exteriors · the approval

Turn my job notes into a written estimate with line items, a subtotal, and simple terms. Then write a short plain English paragraph explaining to the homeowner what is actually wrong and why it matters if they wait. No scare tactics, just straight. My notes: [paste them]

🌱 lawn care and landscaping · the refill

Write my seasonal reminder text for customers I served last year. Friendly, short, easy to reply yes to. Give me one for spring cleanup and one for fall. Then give me a version for the customers who only used me once so I can win them back. My business: [type of work you do]

💈 barbers and salons · the chair filler

Write my appointment reminders, one for 24 hours before and one for 2 hours before. Friendly, short, with an easy way to reschedule. Then write a rebooking text for clients I have not seen in 6 weeks that does not sound desperate. My shop: [name and what you do]

🔧 auto repair · the yes

Explain this repair to my customer in plain English. What is broken, what happens if they wait, and what it costs. No jargon, no scare tactics. Then give me a short version I can text them while they are at work. The repair: [describe it]

Don't see your trade? Take the closest one and tell Claude what you actually do. These are all just a job, a customer, and a message, which is every business.
