π€ AGENT GUIDE Β· GROK BOT
Give your content its own team.
Start with a bot that researches your niche. Once its work is useful, add a writer and a bot that prepares your posts. Here are the prompts for the setup from my video. π
1. Give the researcher one job π
Create a bot with a short name, a research role and clear instructions. Give it your niche, audience, approved sources and past topic list. Run the first request yourself and open the links it returns.
For X research, sign in through the X connector. The documented connection can search posts and check mentions. A popular post still needs its claims checked against the original source.
You research content ideas for my audience: [describe audience]. Find three useful developments in [niche] since [date]. For each, give me the original source link, publication date, what changed and a practical video angle. Check my supplied past topic list and avoid repeats. Separate verified facts from suggestions. Flag anything you cannot verify. Leave the ideas here for my review. Wait for me to choose a topic before handing anything to the writing bot.
2. Add a writer with your voice βοΈ
Choose a topic yourself, then give the writer that research and a few scripts you like. Those examples give it a voice to aim for. Read the result out loud and revise anything you would not actually say.
Use only the research item I approved and its sources. Draft a video script for [platform and target length]. Use these approved scripts as examples of how I talk: [attach or paste examples]. Keep the language conversational, as if I am explaining this to one friend. Never invent a personal test, statistic or result. Mark claims that still need checking. Return the script for my approval before handing it to the post preparation bot.
3. Prepare drafts for each platform π
Give the third bot the approved script. Its job is to prepare captions and assets for your review. In this setup, you make the final edits and publish the posts yourself.
Take the script and assets I approved. Draft one TikTok caption, one Instagram caption and a hook for X. Match my voice using [approved examples]. Adapt each draft to its platform. Include the source links, asset list and anything still missing. Put the package in [our group chat or approved destination] for my review. Keep everything as a draft. Do not publish, schedule or message anyone outside this group. If a tool cannot complete the request, report that clearly.
4. Put the handoffs in a group
Put the relevant bots in a group chat. Tell them the order: researcher β your topic choice β writer β your script review β post preparation β your final review. Ask them to wait at each review point.
Some tools need a plugin or a browser sign in. Connect what the current job needs, then test that task. If a connection cannot perform an action, the bot should say so.
5. Add the morning routine last β°
Run the research task manually a few times first. When you are happy with its results, ask the research bot to create a routine. Set a specific time and timezone. Use the routineβs test run and inspect its first scheduled result.
Every morning, find three AI updates from the last day, with a source link for each. Then wait for me to pick one before you hand it to the writer. Schedule: [time and timezone] Sources: [approved sources] Past topics to avoid: [list or file] Deliver the ideas in: [conversation] If a source is unavailable or you cannot verify an update, say so. Do not substitute an old story without labeling its date. Keep publishing manual.
What a useful result looks like β
- Each idea links to a current original source.
- The writer uses your selected topic and does not invent a personal experience.
- The post drafts match the approved script.
- The bots stop for your review and report missing sources or failed tasks.
The official Social Media Manager example prepares posts for you to publish. This guide keeps that same boundary. Posting tools and permissions vary by platform; the X research connector is not proof that a bot can publish everywhere.
Start with one research task you can check today. Add the other roles when that works. π€
