Claude Academy, the free school ๐ŸŽ“

From @techyai_cj. Anthropic runs a training site for Claude and almost nobody talks about it. It is free, you sign up with an email, and finishing a course gets you an Anthropic certificate. Here is the link, the three tracks, and exactly where I'd start depending on who you are.

Where I'd start

pick the line that sounds like you
You have barely touched AI start here
Do AI Fluency: Framework and Foundations first. It is the flagship, 14 lessons and a quiz, around 4 hours, and it teaches the 4D framework: Delegation, Description, Discernment, Diligence. It is the only one that changes how you use every other tool afterwards.
You already use Claude most days
Skip to AI Capabilities and Limitations, 13 lessons and a quiz, around 3.5 hours. This is the one that stops you being surprised: what the model actually does with context, memory, and steerability. If you only have seven minutes, do the 4 Properties of AI tutorial instead.
You write code
Go straight to the Claude Code track. Claude Code 101 is 12 lessons and a quiz in about an hour, then Your first day and Giving Claude context. My own starter guide pairs with it.

What is actually on there

verified on the live site, August 2026
Courses, tutorials, and live webinars
Courses are the long ones with lessons and a quiz. Tutorials are short, some only seven minutes. Webinars are live sessions you can join or watch back.
Product tracks
Separate paths for Claude.ai, Claude Cowork, Claude Code, Claude Tag, and the Claude Platform, so you can learn only the surface you actually use.
The catalogue keeps growing
It launched small and has expanded steadily through 2026, so the count you saw in any video is probably already out of date. Check the browse menu rather than trusting a number.

How to actually finish one

the part nobody talks about

1. Pick ONE course from the section above. Not three. The failure mode here is enrolling in everything and finishing nothing.

2. Book the time like a meeting. Four hours is one Saturday morning or four lunch breaks.

3. Keep Claude open in another tab and try each idea on your own real work as you go. The lessons stick when you use them on something you actually care about.

4. Take the quiz properly. The wrong answers are the part that teaches you, same as the study system.

If you want the drilling version of this, point the study prompts at the course notes and have Claude quiz you until it sticks.

I'm a software developer and I post what I actually run.
